Mental Issues Turned into a Life Long Love
from Taylor_Schaffer_Stafford on 08/29/2025 06:50 AMTaylor was still locked away dealing with her shopping addiction plus a few other things that she had just found out. She knew that the only person she could trust at the moment was Christian, who even though suffered from his own mental problesm, was still there for her. And she knew she would always be there for him too. So, while they were having some free time in what they called the game room, Taylor was sitting over by the window, looking out as she waited for Christian to come in and join her. She longed to be free and to see her two little babies again. As she sat there looking out the window and letting her mind wonder, she coudn't help but let out a couple of tears and then a sad sigh.

from christian on 09/10/2025 05:27 AMChristian shuffled into the game room a little slower than usual, his hoodie hanging off his shoulders like a shield against the world. His eyes darted around the room, scanning the familiar corners before settling on Taylor by the window. For a second, he hesitated—he always did—like he wasn't sure if he could handle someone else's pain on top of his own. But then he saw the way her shoulders sagged, the quiet tears she tried to wipe away, and his chest tightened.
He walked over, dragging out the chair beside her with a squeak. "You're crying again," he said softly, his voice carrying both concern and a weary kind of recognition. His fingers tapped against his knee, a nervous tic he couldn't stop. "I... I hate seeing you like this."
Christian leaned forward, staring out the same window, as if by looking where she looked he could share the weight she carried. "I know it sucks in here. Feels like the walls are pressing in some days." His voice cracked a little, betraying how much his own mind haunted him. He rubbed the back of his neck and sighed.
"You're thinking about your babies, aren't you?" he added gently. "Every time you look out there... I can see it." He swallowed hard, blinking quickly, because the thought of her kids being away from her stirred up his own fears of abandonment.
Finally, he turned toward her, his expression raw but steady. "Listen... I might be a mess, Tay. God knows I am. But I'm not going anywhere. You got me in here. Always. So... you don't have to sit by the window alone, okay?"
He reached out, almost awkwardly, and laid his hand over hers. His palm was a little clammy, his touch uncertain, but his grip was firm enough to say what words couldn't: he wasn't letting go.

from Taylor_Schaffer_Stafford on 10/25/2025 12:37 AMTaylor turned and looked at Christian with wet eyes. He always did know what to say to make her feel better. A soft smile came across her face as she listened to everything that Christian said. Then she leaned over and laid her head down on Christian's shoulder as she began to speak to him softly and gently. "You always know the right words to say to help get me through this diffiuclt time," she told him softly. "And honestly, yes I am thinking about my babies. They are growing up without me and it hurts really badly," she added as she blinked away the tears. Taylor gave his hands a little squeeze as she looked up into his eyes.
"Baby, we are both a mess and maybe that's why we are so good together," she said with a smile on her face. "And besides, I don't care how messed up you are," she told him. "I love you with everything I have and I know my kids love you too," she told him as she began to smile even bigger now. Then she sat up and continued to hold his hand with one hand and then softly touched his face with the other hand. She knew it took a lot for him to come over, even with his own deamons. "And just as soon as we get out of here, we are gonna get the kids and find our own place, where we can be ourselves and nobody can ever hurt us," she told him.

from christian on 11/12/2025 05:16 AMChristian looked at her, his eyes softening as he reached up and brushed away one of her tears with his thumb. "Hey," he said quietly, his voice rough but warm. "You don't have to thank me for that. You're the strongest woman I've ever met, Taylor. And those kids—your kids—they know it too. They've got your fire, your heart."
He shifted a little closer, letting her rest against him more comfortably. "You're right... we are a mess," he said with a small chuckle that carried a trace of pain. "But it's our kind of mess. The kind that somehow fits together."
Christian leaned his forehead against hers, closing his eyes for a moment. "When we get out of here, we'll make that place real. A home that's just ours. No more running, no more fear. Just... peace."
He opened his eyes again, his voice lower now, steady and sure. "I love you too, Taylor. More than I ever thought I could love anyone. And I'm not going anywhere. Not now. Not ever.

from Taylor_Schaffer_Stafford on 11/21/2025 03:27 AMTaylor smiled and before she could reply to anything, she tilted her head and softly and passionately kissed him. In the back of her mind, she knew they shouldn't be as close as they were, which included kissing, but that wasn't about to stop her. She could feel Christian wrapping his arms around her as they continued to passionately kiss, making each kiss deeper and more passionate than the last. Finally, it was Taylor who broke the kiss and looked deep into Christian's eyes. Taylor knew that they were being watched, though right now the line of sight was being obstructed so they were able to get in a few passionately deep kisses. Finally, it was Taylor, who broke the kiss, and looked deep into Christian's eyes.
"You promise we can do all of that and raise my babies and babies of our own?" she asked as she noticed out of the corner of her eye a couple of orderlies coming towards them. She knew thay had been busted and now they would be seperated from each other for a little while, but at least she knew Christian was in the same hospital, so it made their punishment a little easier to take. "Maybe, once we get done facing our punishment, you can call your mama to help us?" she asked hopeful.
Re: Mental Issues Turned into a Life Long Love
from christian on 11/25/2025 02:05 AMChristian barely had time to breathe after that last kiss before Taylor pulled back, and he just stared at her — breathless, dazed, and completely gone for her. His hands stayed on her waist, almost like he was afraid she might vanish the moment he let go.
"Taylor..." he whispered, voice thick, raw, and full of everything he couldn't say in front of the hallway eyes that were slowly closing in on them. "I don't just promise — I swear it. Every part of it. Your babies, ours, a whole damn life if you'll have me."
He leaned his forehead gently against hers, trying to savor the last few seconds before the orderlies reached them.
"And if they wanna separate us for a bit," he murmured, "then they're just gonna have to deal with the fact I'm not goin' anywhere. Not now. Not ever."
He heard the footsteps getting closer and glanced over her shoulder before returning his eyes to hers, softer now, almost pleading.
"And yeah... I'll call my mama," he added quietly. "She'll help. You know she will. She's gonna love you, Taylor. She already does, and she ain't even met you proper."
Christian brushed his thumb across her cheek, giving her one last look filled with fire, devotion, and stubborn determination.
"They can drag me down that hall if they want," he whispered, leaning in as if he still had time for one more kiss. "But they ain't takin' you outta my life. Not again."
Just before the orderlies reached them, he squeezed her hand — one last secret promise in the space between their palms.
Re: Mental Issues Turned into a Life Long Love
from Taylor_Schaffer_Stafford on 12/02/2025 03:33 AM"Ohh I do want you Christian," she told him after feeling almost light as air after the kissed they just got done sharing. "I want use to have a chance to be family with little Ryan and Jayden," she told him softly. "Though I suppose I better get ahold of Ryan and Clay to tell them about the twins," she added as the orderlies got closer and closer. She could feel Christitan squeeze her hand one last time as the oderlies pulled Christian and Taylor apart. "I love you Christian," Taylor said as one orderly grabbed her while the other orderly gfabbed Christian. As all four of them began to walk out of the day room and down too where the punishment rooms are, one orderly began to speak.
"You two know the rules. Public displays of affection are not allowed," he said. "So we can do this the easy way, and both of you stay in the punishment rooms that you are put into," the orderly said. "Or we can do this the hard way,, with shots and restraints," he said. "It's your choice," he said as Taylor looked at Christian but said nothing. This wasn't their first time to the punishment rooms and in the back of her mind, it probably wouldn't be the last. But ther was one thing that she was definately sure of and that was, even though they were stuck in this place, she and Christian were always going to be together, no matter what. Just as the orderlies got to the punishement rooms, both Christian and Taylor turned to look at each other.
"I can't way to meet your mother," she told him with a smile on her face. "And I do hope she will help us," she added as they were getting ready to be locked up for a few hours. "Oh and I have something to tell you about my past," she told him. "But it can wait until we do our time," she said laughing, as she was trying to make good from a bad situation. "Try not to miss me too badly," she added as the orderlies put them in seperate rooms and closed the door for a while.
Re: Mental Issues Turned into a Life Long Love
from christian on 12/10/2025 05:35 AMThe door hadn't even finished locking before Christian leaned forward, pressing his palm flat against the cold metal as if he could reach her through it.
His voice came low under the harsh buzzing lights:
"Taylor... listen to me. We'll take the easy way. No shots. No restraints."
There was a strain in his tone—like he was holding back the urge to fight the orderlies for even touching her.
"I want to walk out of here on my own two feet so I can get to you as soon as they let us out."
He slid down until he was sitting on the floor, back against the wall, breathing slow so she wouldn't hear the anger still simmering in him.
A moment passed.
Then his voice softened into something warm and raw:
"I love you too. And nothing they do to us in here is gonna change that."
He let his head rest against the wall behind him, staring up at the tiny camera in the corner.
"And Tay... I want a future with you. A real one."
"A home. A life outside these walls. A chance to sit at a kitchen table and laugh without worrying someone's listening in."
He exhaled shakily.
"And yeah... we should tell Ryan and Clay about the twins. They deserve to know where you've been and what's been happening."
He paused, then added gently:
"But they're your family. Not mine. I just... want to be part of your world, if you'll let me."
He angled himself toward the small tray window in the door, as if he could feel her sitting on the other side doing the same.
A quiet laugh passed through his lips.
"And trust me—when you meet my mother... she's gonna try to smuggle us out of this place herself."
Then, more serious:
"Whatever you have to tell me about your past... I want to hear it. All of it. When we're out of these rooms, when it's just you and me."
He reached up and tapped twice on the metal—
their little signal.
Their promise.
"And Taylor...?"
His voice dropped to a whisper meant only for her.
"I'm already missing you. And I don't care how long they lock us in here... I'll be waiting the second that door opens."
Two rooms.
One hallway.
No way to touch.
But Christian held onto her voice, her smile, her promise—
as tightly as he had held her hand moments before.
Re: Mental Issues Turned into a Life Long Love
from Taylor_Schaffer_Stafford on 02/15/2026 07:53 AMAs Christian was speaking to her, she could tell that every word was coming from his heart. She closed her eyes and let his words wrap her up like a warm blanket for her heart and soul. She knew deep within her heart that Christian was right. Someday they would be free, and they would be somewhere where they could live in peace, raise the twins and even have some babies of their own. They would be in a place where she could write her music and sing to the world, like she always meant to do. And as Christian finished up with what he was say, tears were falling down her face, though they started when Christian started speaking, but now they were really falling like raindrops. It took her a few minutes for her to get herself composed and when she felt composed and able to talk, she began to speak to him.
"My dear sweet Christian," she said as she too pressed her hand to the door as if she could feel his just outside the door. "I promise you that I will work hard on not causing any trouble," she said. "Because being in here without you is breaking my heart," she told him as she went on speaking. "And I also want a future with you. I want to get married and have our own babies and a house with a white picket fence," she said laughing through her tears. Then Taylor went quiet for a few minutes as she started to reflect on her past with Clay and Ryan. She knew that she had treated both of them badly that she didn't know if she could even face them again. Finally, after a little while, Taylor was ready to speak again, though she still had tears falling from her eyes.
"As for the twins, you are right, I need to tell Clay and Ryan about them but I'm so afraid to confront them," she told him. "I mean I wasn't very nice to either one, with me cheating on one with the other and vice versa. I even did something that could get me sent to jail," she told him, hoping that what she was telling him through the wall wouldn't change his love for her. "I am a very bad girl, my love, but you. "You make me want to be good and do only good things," she told him as she paused again to lay her head gently on the door as if his was just on the other side, waiting for hers. Somehow, she felt his against hers and deep down inside, she was actually thinking that this was a bit romantic in a weird sort of way. Taylor took a deep breath and began to speak to her.
"Chris, you are a part of my world, you are the reason the sun rises and sunsets in my world," she told him. "And as far as my family goes, you are my family as much as they are," she told him. "And I want you to be apart of their lives as well, and I want you to be a part of t he twins lives too," she told him. "We can be one big happy family, once you're mom gets us out of here," she told him as she moved onto about her past, which she was definitely worried about telling him, but if he was willing to listen to her tell her story, then she would be more than happy to tell him. "As far as my past goes, it's pretty bad with some even sadder parts," she told him. "But if you are willing to listen, I'll tell you just as soon as we are free from these rooms. Taylor paused for just a few minutes as she gathered her final thoughts. "I miss you Chris and I love you so much," she said and then softly began to sing her song Teardrops on My Guitar.
Re: Mental Issues Turned into a Life Long Love
from christian on 02/16/2026 12:17 AMChristian stood on the other side of the door, his palm pressed flat against the cool surface, exactly where hers rested. He could feel the faint vibration of her voice through the metal — and when she started to sing, his eyes closed.
Her voice.
Even muffled by walls and distance, it wrapped around him like gravity.
He let her finish the first verse before he spoke, his voice low but steady — not weak, not doubting, not shaken.
"Taylor... you are not a bad girl."
He leaned his forehead against the door now, breathing slowly, grounding himself in her presence.
"You made mistakes. We all have. That doesn't make you broken. It doesn't make you unworthy of love. It makes you human."
His voice thickened slightly, but he didn't let it crack.
"And as for Clay and Ryan... yes, you hurt them. But fear doesn't get to run your life anymore. You tell them the truth because it's the right thing to do. Not because you're scared. Not because you think you deserve punishment."
He swallowed.
"You tell them because those twins deserve honesty. And because you deserve to stop carrying all of this alone."
He exhaled slowly and shifted his hand slightly, fingers spreading as if he could lace them with hers through the barrier.
"You think I don't know you've done things you regret?" he asked softly. "I know. I can hear it in your voice every time you talk about your past. But I don't love you in spite of those things. I love you including them. Every scar. Every wrong turn. Every regret."
He let the silence sit between them for a moment — warm instead of empty.
"And don't you dare talk like I'm the reason the sun rises," he added gently, a faint smile in his voice. "You were light long before I found you. I just reminded you of it."
He breathed in when she said she wanted him to be part of her family.
"That's all I want," he admitted. "Not some perfect fantasy. Not some fairytale house. I want you. I want the twins. I want the messy dinners and the late nights and you writing music at two in the morning because you can't sleep."
He let out a quiet, almost breathless laugh.
"And yes... maybe someday a white picket fence."
His tone softened again.
"But hear me, Taylor. We're not waiting to be good until we're free. We start now. You start now. No more running. No more hiding behind guilt. When we walk out of here, you walk out honest. Strong. Ready to face what you've done — and ready to build something better."
He paused.
"And if jail is part of making things right?" His voice didn't waver. "Then we face that too. Together. I won't disappear because you told the truth."
There was quiet again. Not empty — full.
Then he lowered his voice almost to a whisper.
"I miss you too. Every second. And I love you more than walls or mistakes or fear."
He pressed his forehead harder against the door.
"And when we get out of here... you're going to sing that song on a stage. Not through a wall."
A soft breath.
"And I'll be in the front row."
