Stranded Between Heaven, Hell and the Open Sea

from Lynda on 05/17/2026 07:57 AM

Bella, Abby and Phoenix were sleeping peacefully in Angel's old crib while Lynda began to pack for the upcoming cruise that Bobby continually expressed that he felt like he shouldn't have to go. It even caused them to fight a little bit, which she always hated when they fought, but in the end though, they always found some common ground, which always made their relationship stronger. Lynda knew why Bobby didn't want to go and she understood it all too well. But Angel was a grown man now and all those years Bobby stayed away were over and that's what part of this trip was all about, at least for the Singer family. As Lynda was packing, Bobby was sitting on their bed, once again restating all the reasons why he not only didn't want to go but he shouldn't go on this cruise with the entire family. As Lynda was listening to Bobby, she was pulling different outfits out for him and then folding each piece and sticking it into the suitcase. Finally, when Bobby was done speaking and Lynda had stopped folding clothes, she came around the bed to where he was sitting. Then she sat at the end of the bed, next to him and finally began to speak to him. "Bobby, honey, Angel is a grown man now," she told him. "If anything was going to happen, it would have done happened by now," she told him as she put arms around him to help comfort him. "You kept your end of the deal and suffered significantly because of it," she told him. "But now is your chance to get to know Angel and maybe try to have a real relationship with him," she added as she gently put her head on his shoulder as she continued to speak to him. "I know you have been carrying so much for so long," she whispered to him as she lifted her head and softly kissed his shoulder.

"But now is your chance to make things right and get the one thing that you want more than life itself," she added as she reached over and touched his face softly and gently. Then she turned his head so that they were looking deep into each other's eyes. She could see the hurt and sadness in his eyes. But she could also see fear there too. "Come with us and be there for your son and let him get to know you and you get to know him," she told Bobby. "You spent his entire life away from him so that he might stay protected, which he was," she told him and then went on speaking as Bobby continued to look deep into her eyes. Lynda gently ran her thumb over his cheek as she watched him fighting hard to hold back the tears. Neither one of them said anything for a long time. And then out of nowhere, Bobby leaned in and passionately kissed Lynda, who passionately kissed him back without pulling away. Finally, after several minutes of just passionately kissing and just letting themselves get lost in the other one, Lynda broke the kiss and laid her forehead against his. Their eyes never leaving his and his eyes never leaving hers. It was a few minutes more before Lynda finally broke the silence and began to speak to him. "I'm going to take that as you finally agreeing to come with us on the cruise," she told him as a smile came over her face. Bobby didn't say anything, but he did nod in agreeing with what she said about he agreeing to come with them on the cruise. "That makes me very happy Bobby," she whispered to him. "And I promise you that you will have a good time," she added. "And I will make sure that Angel makes a real effort if you make the same effort," she told him, which he whispered to her that he would definitely make the effort, which made her smile once more. Then they softly kissed again, though not as long as before, and Lynda then got up and went back to packing.
