"That she did," Andrew said with a chuckle as he came to the first red light. As they waited for their turn to go, Andrew continued on with his thoughts. "But of course, from the dirty details that Adam sometimes shares with me, their hot sex is worth her going off to these conventions for her career," he said smirking as the light turned green and then Andrew began to go.
"That's true, but before we left, we all got into it pretty badly," Andrew told Ross with a sad tone. "By the way, do you mind if I call Hoss and Adam when we get to your house?" he asked his best friend. "I know the boys would really love to spend time with their uncles, especially before Hoss's special friend comes back and take all his attention," he said laughing. "And believe me, Hoss shares Laura's attention with noone, " he added still laughing as he drove to the video store first. Andrew pulled into the parking lot and found the perfect parking spot and once he was satisifed with how he parked, Andrew turned to Ross with a smile. "Okay, I'm gonna run in and get a few choice movies, can you stay here and watch the kiddos since they are asleep?" he asked Ross as he opened his door. "I'll leave the truck running, so I won't be too long," he added. "And if the the kids should happen to wake up before I get back, don't let them talk you into anything," he smriked.

"I think one reason why Adam's so busy is because he misses Jennifer, though she supposed to beck soon though," Andrew told Ross. "She'll be able to get him to rest once she's back," he added with a smile as he pulled away from the hotel and back onto the street, heading for the first stop, which was the vidoe store to pick a few movies out for everybody.
Andrew then looked into the rearview mirror and saw the kids sleeping. "They sure are," he said softly. "Of course, they did have quiet a day today at the Ponderosa. Just let them sleep for a while, they can use it," he said softly as he came to his first red light. Andrew then went on speaking as they were waiting for the light to turn green. "No award is neccesary," he said with a chuckle. "But there has to be something that will please everybody," he told Ross once the light turned green and Andrew began to drive again.

"Tell me about it," Andrew said with a sigh. "I've already had one full panic attack today," he said and then shook his head as if he was shaking off the bad feelings. Then Andrew snapped back and looked up at Ross with a smile. "That sounds like the perfect way to end a horrible day for all of us," Henry said as he too looked back at the kids who had just dozed off.
"Well, hop in and we wil be on his way," he told him with a smile. "And I know what you mean. Even if it's just one night without the fighting and stress," Andrew started to tell Ross. "Would be a vacation for everyone," he finished with a chuckle to his voice. "Maybe I could come up with something that everybody will enjoy, but don't hold me too that," Andrew said laughing as whiched over to the subject of Adam. Andrew seemed like he was deep in thought for a little bit. He knew Adam was still at the house running the ranch, but he could just leave his cell phone number with the forman but knew Adam coud use a couple days vacation. "I think Adam would love to join us. Lord knows he coud use some time off," he told Ross. "Why don't you get in and call him while I drive us to KFC and then to the video store," he sugged with a smile.

Andrew wanted to ask what the or he was talking about, but Andy thought better of it. Then he looked back at his keys who were getting restless and probably hungry too. Then he looked back at Ross and smiled at his old friend. "I really appriciate it and I think I will take you up on that offer. I know the kids are getting tired and cranky...well...even more cranky than they already are," Andy said with chuckle.
"I tell you what," Andy said with a huge smile on his face. "Why don't you hop in and I'll swing by KFC or some place like that and grab everyone dinner," Andy added as he continued. "They we will go back to your house and have dinner and watch movies and just relax," Andy suggested, hoping this would help not only clear Ross's head but maybe his own. Andy had so much on his mind that he could hardly think straight.

"Oh hey Ross," Andy said with a smile on his face. "I'm doing okay, just stressed out to the point I had to leave the Ponderosa for a while," he confessed. "And right now I didn't feel comfortable with leaving the kids there either, so you know there's some bad things going down at the ranch house," he added as he just turned off his truck and was unbuckling his belt.
"But enough about me and my problems. How have you been?" he asked Ross as Andrew quickly changed the subject. "It's been a whie since I have seen you around. What's been going on with you man?" Andy asked now starting to worry about his friend. |
