Andrew knew that his and Adam's mom didn't know that Adam or Hoss were in the hospital and both are in very serious condition. So, while Joe and Jennie were visiting Hoss, Andrew decided to go find James Wilson, who was his second stepdad, and since he was great friends with Lynda, Andrew knew that James had a cushy job at her hospital. Anyway, while Joe and Jennie were busy, he knew that he was able to slip away for a few minutes to find James. So, Andrew went to the floor that he knew that James worked on and once he got to that floor, he went to the reception desk and asked for James Wilson's office. The receptionist told Andrew to take a seat and that he would let James know that he was there. Finally, after about minutes of non-stop waiting, the receptionist told Andrew that he could go back to James's office, where James Wilson was waiting for him. Andrew nodded and said thank you and was soon walking down the hallway until he reached Jame's office door.

Andrew took a deep breath and then knocked on the door before walking in. "Hey James," Andrew said with a smile on his face. "I hope I ain't interrupting anything important," he told James as he went and sat down in one of the chairs that sat across Jame's desk. "You haven't heard from mom lately, have you?" Andrew asked James to which James shook his head sadly no. Andrew let out a sigh of relief that he had gotten there in time. Andrew cleared his throat and began to speak to James more, this time coming straight to the point. "Anyway, I know mom will be or at least should be calling you and Mark sometime soon and when she does," Andrew told him. "Tell her that both Hoss and Adam are in the hospital and they are both stable but in serious condition," Andrew told James, who now had a shocked look on his face. But before James could ask what happened, Andrew went on speaking. "Adam was trampled by one of the roughest horses that was ever brought to the Ponderosa," he told James. "And Hoss, well, we think his heart is trying to give out on him," Andrew explained to James. "So, if you could, let mom know what's going on when she calls you," Andrew added and then went quiet so that James could reply to everything that Andrew just told him.

"I just wanted to call and tell you that Andrew has the list of passwords and the only way to get him to give it to you is by answering that House won't ever know the answer too," she told him. "The answer is Lilith," she told him sound increasingly out of breath, "Remember that," she added. Lynda paused for a few minutes as she caught her breath. Then she began to answer James's questions. "I'm nauseous and a bit dizzy," she told him. "I'm standing outside my office against the wall because I can't get the floor to stop spinning," she added. "I think I know what the problem is, but I need some help getting to an exam room with an ultrasound in it," she said softly, having the feeling that she was pregnant, which this one could be rougher than the last one. She wasn't no spring chicken, but she also knew that Ben would be extremely happy, plus it would explain her mood swings and a lot of other things. Lynda put her head against the wall and her eyes closed.

"If you wouldn't mind coming and helping me, I would greatly appreciate it," she added. When James said he would be there in a few minutes, Lynda said okay and soon they hung up from each other and as Lynda waited for James to show up, she began to control her breathing a little bit as she started to calm down. It was just then that James showed up and he put his arm around her and she leaned into him. She opened her eyes to see James and she smiled at him. "Thanks for helping me," she told him, now sounding more like herself than she did before. They were walking very slowly as James was taking her to an exam room and get her laying down while he went to get an ultrasound machine. "And I know that this hospital is in good and capable hands," she said as they reached the first empty exam room they came too. James helped her on the table, and soon she was laying back. James then sat the back of the exam table up a little to help ease the nausea that she was feeling while James went out to look for an ultrasound machine.

Lynda stood there listening to everything that James had to say. She fought hard to keep back the tears, even though she knew a few had already started to fall down her cheek. The warm and caring smile that was now upon her face, stayed there as he continued to speak from his heart. Once he was done, she gave him a sweet nod to let him know that she heard every word that he said and that she understood everything. She waved at James one last time and then turned and walked away. She still had quite a bit of things to do, and she knew she was running out of time. So, Lynda started heading for her office, when she stopped and remembered she forgot to tell James about her computer password and the other passwords that she uses to get into different parts of the hospital records. She started to turn around and started to walk back down to James's office, she felt a sharp little pain in her stomach and for a few minutes got a bit dizzy. She stopped where she was and just stood there for a little while, just to let the pain and dizziness pass.

Once the sharp pain and dizziness passed, Lynda decided she would go sit down at her desk since she was close to her office. So, she slowly turned around and walked back to her office, staying close to the wall just in case she lost her balance. The last thing she needed was for her to fall and hurt herself before she went into treatment. Once she got to her office and over to her desk, she gently sat down and let herself relax a bit. Once she was feeling better, she called her assistant and had her go get Lynda some hot tea and a cup of ice and a ginger ale. She nodded and then left Lynda alone in her office. Then after a few more minutes of just sitting and doing nothing, Lynda picked up her phone and dialed James's hospital number and then waited for him to answer. She knew she had to make sure that James knew about the passwords or else nobody would be getting paid nor would the would the hospital bills be getting paid either. As Lynda continued to wait for James to answer his phone, Lynda's assistant came back with her hot tea and cold ginger ale. Lynda said thank you and then soon dismissed her assistant.

Lynda listened to everything that James had to say. Her smile grew bigger as she continued to listen to James. In fact, it did her heart good as she listened close to everything that James had to say. When he was done, Lynda went quiet for a little while as she looked down and then back up at James. Finally, Lynda was ready to speak to one of her most trusted friends. "I know that, but you never can tell who your true friends are and who are just using you to make their way up in the world," she said. "But you, James, are one the most friendly and honest people I know," she said and reached out and touched James's face softly and friendly like.

"I'm sorry James," Lynda said feeling bad that she even brought that sentence up. "I really didn't mean it like that," she added and then went on with her thought. "Besides, Adam and Andrew are a little more accepting than Joe and Jennie," Lynda said with a chuckle. "They always have been. Though Jennie and Joe are coming around a little bit," she told James with a smile. "Either way, you and are family and that's the way it's going to stay," she told him as she went onto talk about work and making him a partner in her hospital. "I know, and when I hired most of these people they came so highly recommended, but the moment that I gave them all a cushy pay, they all start getting lazy," she told James as she shook her head in disbelief.

"Maybe a lot of them will think about actually doing the work they were hired for instead of gold bricking," she said. Lynda couldn't help but smile as she listened to James say he wouldn't notice her making her plans to shake things up. She let out a soft chuckle as she then began to speak to him again. "Don't worry, you, House and Mark aren't going anywhere," she smirked. "I got you three until you at least retire and of course there is Ben, who is almost ready to start his residency here, though I have no idea what he is going to specialize in yet," she told James getting a bit off the subject. But it was when James thanked her for the raise that Lynda snapped back on track, which was now the subject of raises and how he and Mark really deserved them. "You don't have to thank me," she finally told him. "Both you and Mark earned them. You both stay late when you don't have too and you both come in early when asked," she told him.

"So, yea, you both definitely earn raises," she said with a smile. Lynda couldn't help but laugh at what James said about House and hazard pay. "Don't worry, Greg knows how far he can go without getting me too upset," she told James. "Besides, nobody said you would have the "insurance policy" in your office," she told him. "I know that Greg knows all your hiding spots, so there was no way I was going to let you actually keep the insurance," she smirked. "But don't worry, anything he breaks, I'll not only pay for, but I'll make sure he's punished for it," she told him as she looked over at the clocked and noticed the time. She knew she had better be going if she was going to go to the bank and do a couple of other things before going home and getting ready.

"I know you will do great James," she said with a smile as she once more touched James's face in a friendly way. "And yes, I am considering very strongly that someday soon making you a partner," she added with a smile. "That's how impressive you have been ever since I brought you on," she told him. "And you can thank Greg for that. He's the one that recommended you for the job," she added. "Don't worry, I'm going to get through this and be better than ever," she told him with a huge smile on his face. Then she let go of his face and soon was out of James's office while James stood in his own doorway. She started to walk away before stopping and turning around with a smile on his face. "Don't worry," she said with a huge smile on her face. "I won't scare anyone anymore. In fact, I am starting to think I need everyone just as much as they need me," she told him.

"I'll see you later James," she said as she waved to him. "Remember, don't go changing and don't let Greg House talk you into anything that you know will get you two into trouble," she said with a smirk. "I won't be around to produce the bail money to get you two out of jail," she said laughing and then turned and was soon walking down to her office feeling better knowing that her hospital was in good hands, though also knowing that she would have her assistant keeping eyes on everything and everyone. Then she was to report everything she seen and heard back to Lynda, regardless of Lynda being in treatment or not.

House smiles, "Keep waiting my friend, keep waiting. That will be a long time coming". He laughs, "I do sometimes think I MIGHT like you, and even Lynda" he chuckles just a bit.
