Andrew laughed as he kept dabbing Adam with a rag and the cool water, though from time to time he would gently ring out a little of the exess water over Adam's face, knowing it probably did feel good to him. "Hey, gotta keep you awake somehow," Andrew said with a quirky smile on his face. "I mean unless you prefer me to give you mouth to mouth," he said as he imagined that and then shivered as if he was thinking about something gross, which he was. 

"Don't worry I'm not stopping," Andrew said as took the rag, soaked up some water and then gently wrung some of the water out on Adam's face. "That he is, but he's our monster and when push comes to shove, he's always there for us, just like we are there for him," Andrew said as he thought about the many fights that Hoss was able to get them out off, and not judging them.

Andy had a few more tears slip down his face as his eyes never left Adam's, though he could tell that the strain of talking was taking its toll on Adam. And he could also see that Adam was also struggling hard to keep his eyes open. Andy didn't say anything for a few mmoments and then he began to speak to his brother. "I won't talk like that anymore," he said softly. "Just as long as you stick around for a long while. I'm counting on you to be my best man at mine and Michaela's wedding, of course, I have to ask her first," Andy said as was now just rambling on and on, like he ususally did when he was nerous or worried about something or someone. 

"I'll never let go," Andy said. "And I will call her just as soon as you are at the hospital and getting checked out," he told his little brother. "And I promise to try not to worry her, but she's head over heels for you Adam, so don't be surprised if she leaves her conference and race home to you," Andy said as he finally heard the sirens getting closer and closer. "Hey....I can hear the ambulance now. You're gonna be okay brother....just hand on a little longer," he told her. 

"You don't always clean my messes," he said chuckling. "Besides, I've taken my fair share of your punishments too, you know," he said witha smile on his face. "So, that makes us about even I think and keep your eyes open," he told him. "Or else I'll start slapping you like a little bitch on her period," Andy told his own brother and then laughed. 

Then Andy got serious again as he held onto Adam's hand as he used his other hand to gently rub Adam down with cool water. Andy worry was getting very worried and concerned as he looked up to see where the ambulance was. "Damnit!!" Andy cried. "JOE!! DO YOU SEE THE AMBULANCE YET?" Andy yelled and then turned back to Adam. 

"Just lay still little brother," he told Adam. "I know you are hurting and I wish I could trade places with you right now," he said being serious and then a silly grin came over his face. "And you're right, Jennifer doesn't have a thing to do with this," he said. "You're hiding from Hoss. You know Laura's coming and Hoss is now big enough to do more than just throw mud at you," Andy said laughing. "He'll drowned you in it," Andy added and then laughed out loud. 

"I'm not letting go," Andy said seriously. "But you have to stay with me. You and I, we share something that only twins know and honestly, I don't think I can live if you aren't here," he told Adam knowing that sounded corny as hell.  Then Andy changed the subject. "But do you want me to get ahold of Jennifer?" he asked him still as serious as ever.

"Well, that's what you get for having me come out of mom first," Andrew said. "And you better keep those eyes open and keep talking to me or else I might have to give you mouth to mouth," Andrew said playfully. "And I didn't brush my teeth today," he added trying to keep Adam awake as Joe brought Andy what he had asked for. 

Andrew then took the rag and dipped it into the bucket of cool water. He was soon running it gently over Adam's face and neck. "I know why you got hurt," he said being an ass again. "You are missing Jennifer, with her being at that confernce and you know that if you get badly hurt, she'll come running home," Andrew said.

"I know your little game little brother," Andrew said as he dipped the rag once more and then rung it gently over Adam's face. "Just relax but stay awake," he said as he could hear the ambulance in the distance. "Help will be hear soon little brother. You just hold on," Andrew said as he took Adam's hand. 

"Oh shit!" Andy and both Joe said at the same time. Then jumped off the fence as they rushed over to Adam. Andy pushed the horse away from him and soon the other ranch hands came over to grab the horse. Once the horse was being taken care of, Andy went back over to Adam and tried to make him as comfortable as possible. 

"Hang in there Adam!" Andy told him and then looked back at Joe. Andy told Joe to call 911 and then turned to another ranch hand and told him to get a bucket of cool water and a rag. Then Andy turned back to Adam . "Stay with me brother," Andy said. "You're gonna be okay," he added.
