Laura says:
Laura couldn't help but smile and then chuckle a little bit. Then she began to speak to him. "Oh please, you know you will always find somewhere to hide," she told him. "But what you cannot escape is me, at least not while you are still so obsessed with me anyway," she added. Then, just as if Laura was there, ghost Laura went over and sat on Gunnar's lap and put her arms around him. Then she began to speak to him, softly and not condescending. In fact, she sounded almost as if she felt very sorry for Gunnar. "Don't worry sweetie, this part only lasts a few hours," she said. "Then you'll fall asleep for several hours, maybe a day or two, then you'll wake up and do it all again and that's when the real you will come out to play," she told him. There was a pause for a little bit as Gunnar looked as if he was going to throw up but nothing came up. Laura continued to sit on Gunnar's lap and not say anything for a little while longer. Finally, she began to speak again and talk about the rest of his thoughts.

"You know, I might not have walked away if you hadn't continuously beat me until I was almost dead," she told him angrily as she got up from his lap. At this point she turned away from him for a while before she turned back to him and continued speaking. "But even I could put up with that if you hadn't lied to me all those years about Eric being dead," she told him as she folded her arms again. She was looking at Gunnar sharply now. "If your drunken, high mouth hadn't overloaded and spilled the beans about Eric being alive," she added as she watched Gunnar getting not only aggravated but nervous as well. "He looks at me with the love you never gave me," she told Gunnar honestly. "He knows all about what you had done to me, and yes you did a great job of breaking me," she told him. "But the way he looks at me, is more than seeing someone broken. He sees a beautiful lady who just needs a little love to heal the broken pieces of her life," she said calmly as she went on speaking now about why he sent Jax.

"You and I both know the answer to whether or not I'm happier without you, even without sending Jax," she told him. "Right now, you are sobering up and right now, everything is scarying you, and you don't honestly know what to do," she told him honestly and still with that calm and soothing voice she had as she reached out to touch him, even though he really couldn't feel her anymore. In fact, she knew he couldn't feel anything she ever did to him while she was in the form she was in. "Look, I know you don't want to face anything that you did or any truth that you need to her, but why don't you go straight and get clean?" she asked him. "You will no only feel better but you might be surprised and find someone who you can love even better than me and who will actually love you back," she added just as someone was began to knock on the door. That was when Laura disappeared as Nick, the mob boss's right hand man, waited at the door with Gunnar's new shipment of supplies for his drugs.

Laura says:
Laura folded her arms as she stood there looking down at Gunnar. She didn't say anything at first but then a smile came over her face and began to speak to Gunnar again. "What's wrong Gunnar? You don't like ghost me anymore?" she asked him as she stood beside his chair for a little while before going and sitting down on the couch. She knew he was coming down off his high, which meant he felt the pain and regret and even guilt for everything he put her through, but she knew that wouldn't last too long. She knew once he got high again and maybe even drunk again, he would be the man that loved doing bad things to her, even though it might kill her one day. After sitting on the couch for quite a while, listening to everything that Gunnar was sputtering out, she shook her head and let out a little chuckle. Then she began to speak to him, knowing that everything she was saying was complete bullshit.

"Oh, so now we bring out the pity party Gunnar," she said as she chuckled. "Your high is wearing off, which means soon you will be falling asleep for several hours or at least until your next fix, which will be the reason why you wake up," she told him as she went back to reply to everything that Gunnar had to say. "So, tell me, if you are feeling this bad about everything you had done to me," Laura asked as she sat on the edge of the couch so she could hear him good. "Why is it you sent your right-hand man, Jax, to spy on me?" she asked him. "And don't say because you were high at the time, because I already knew that," she told him. "Is it because you don't want to see me with your nephew? Is that too much for your blood-shot eyes to handle?" she asked him.

Laura says:
It was just about that time that Gunnar's imaginary Laura showed up. She only came around when he was drunk or high and right now, he was both. And he was the only one that could see her, which nobody said anything to him about it or there would be dire consequences. "So, you honestly believe that I'm not going to catch on with your little game?" Laura told him as she was watching him sulking in his chair. "You really don't give me enough credit, do you?" she asked him as she was chuckling. "Come on Gunnar, you should know me better than that," Laura added as she walked around the couch and sat down.

"I mean honestly," she continued. "You were smarter back when I was growing up than you are now," she added. "You remember back when Inger and Eric were staying with us, and she had to go to work?" she asked him. "And you were completely drunk off your ass and high as a kite, and Eric cuddled up next to me?" she asked him to chuckle. "Man, you gave me such a beating, that it actually turned me on a little," she told him teasingly as she then got up and went over to his chair. "But of course, you only beat me halfway to death because I wanted to safe Eric," she said and then pressed on. "What happened to that guy who never needed anyone to do your fighting for you?" she asked him as she teasingly rubbed his shoulder, even though she was a figment of his imagination.

"I'll make sure I stay close without her knowing I'm even there," Jax said with a smirk on his face. Jax listened to everything that Gunnar had to say and only nodded. Jax knew that Gunnar wasn't going to change his mind only sober up before doing it all again. "Understood Boss," he said as he finally turned and walked out the door.

Soon Jax was on his bike and on his way to Nevada. He had a plan already forming in his head how he would handle Laura, though it might cause her a little pain, even though Gunnar said not too. But he knew that would come later on and only if it came down to it. But for now, Jax would do it Gunnar's way.

Jax nodded and turned to go before stopping and turning back to Gunner. "You know where she ran too," Jax told him. "You know she ran to that fat ass nephew of yours. You know she's always been crazy for him ever since she was allowed to look at him," he remided Gunnar.

"I'll make sure to stick to her without her even knowing I am there," he told Gunnar as he grabbed for his motorcycle helment. Once he had that in his hands, Jax turned to go before speaking one more time. "I will boss, you can count on me," Jax said and then went silent for a few moments as he stood in the doorway as if he was deep in thought.

"Boss, if Laura is with that fat nephew of yours, I know you said I can't touch or talk to her, but can I mess with him a little bit?" he asked Gunnar. "You know, give him a little warning about who she actually belongs too," Jax told Gunner with a evil smile on his face as he waited for Gunnar to approve or deny Jax's request.
