Laura could see Hoss was hurting and the guilt began to build inside her again, though she was good at hiding it. She placed her hand over his heart for a moment as she looked deep into his eyes. "Breathe slowly, my love," she told him. "I'm right here and I'm not going anywhere," she told him as she as she moved her hand to reach down and took his and then brought both hands up to his heart. 

As she was getting Hoss to breathe deep and slow, she went on to reply to everything he just told her. "Your dad has three wives? That' s insane," she said chuckling. "Next thing you're gonna tell me is he got back with Adam and Andy's mom too," she added. Then her face softened. "Now don't you go getting any ideas, I don't like to share things that are mine," she told him as she took her other hand and began to wipe the soap off his body. 

Laura stopped what she was doing and realized that Hoss was told a completely different story about his mom. "Is that what your father told you?" she asked him. "Because I know for a fact that she didn't go back east," she told him. "My dad was the one who found her in an abandond werehouse," he said. "She was  so bad that the doctors in New York didn't think she would make it," she told him. "I should know, I visited her in the hospital all the time," she told Hoss. "But she didn't say anything about being divorced," she said. 

"In fact, Inger leaving you behind was something I knew she would never do," she told him. "She told me one time the only way she would ever leave you is because she died," she added and then let out a sigh. "But I'm glad your father found Marie, at least he is happy and I know your mama's happy because she in the Bahamas with her husband, which just happens to be my father," she told him as shee felt Hoss's gently putting his hand over hers while both hands was under water. 

"Well, I can hardly wait to meet them then," she told him as she was getting the weirdest feeling deep down in her stomach, but she just let it go. "Sweetie, I love holding your hand, but I really need to use my hand to wipe all the soap off you," she said softly and with a chuckle, which sounded a bit nervous but hopefully he would over look it. 

"Well, I think it's high time that you, Adam and Andy should run the ranch and give your father a break," she told him. "Though until your heart gets fix, you're part will have to be book keeping and make sure everyone gets paid, and things like that," she told him. "I don't want you out there breaking a sweet with your heart the way it is," she said as she continued rubbing him down and getting him all soapy. 

"And as for Adam and Andy, well they got that twin connection," she said. "So you know they know what the other one is thinking," Laura said as she paused and and looked at Hoss. "Eric, do you think that Adam could draw us a ranch house and make it look the way we want it to?" she asked him . Then she chuckle ass she was remembering a good memory. "Remember how you threw mud at Andy for him giving me a daisy?" she asked still chuckling. "And then when he kissed my hand you threw a rock at his head?" she added. 

Laura paused when she heard the names Jennie and Joe. "Wait....the last time I talked to Inger, she never mentioned anything about having twins," she told him as she then began to smile as she rinsed her hands off in the water and then reached for the wash cloth so that she could rinse Hoss off. "Anyway, I can't wait to meet Joe and Jennie," she told him. "I'm sure that we all are gonna get along very well, especially now that I'm gonna be part of the family," she said happily. 

"I would love to hear one of your ideas," she said giggling as she opened the bottle of body wash as their heads leaned on each others. Finally, Laura  broke the hold and began to squirt some body wash on his chest. As she was doing so, she knew this was the perfect time to get caught up on the changes she had missed. 

"So, tell me, how is Ben, Adam and Andy doing?" she asked him  as she looked at him with interrest.  "Anything new or exciting happened to them?" she asked him as she  then began to gently rub the body wash all over his chest and his arms, making sure to get every inch of him clean. 

Laura let out a soft moan as their lips lingered after the most passionate kiss they have ever shared. The way their lips lingered not wanting to part, but knowing they probably should. Finally, after listening to everything that Hoss told her Laura broke the kiss and laid her head genty against his and his hand gently on her face. 

"That's why I want you to get check out," she said softly as she just held him for a while. That made her think about another song she worte for her sister Carrie and it made a couple of tears fall from her eyes once again. "There is one song I wrote that I really don't want to happen," she whispered to him as she turnedd to look deep into his eyes. She let her hand softly touch his face as she continued to speak to him. 

"Besides, I bet you got some romantic ideas floating around in that beautiful head of yours," she said with a giggle. "And I can't wait to see them, my love," she added and then sat up and reached over for the body wash. "Now,  I think it's about time we get you washed and get you checked out," she told him happily. "I bet Ben, Adam, and Andy must be going out of their minds wondering where you are," she said happily, not knowing about everyone else.
