Andrew smile as he stopped tightening his saddled and turned to face Joe. Then Andrew pulled Joe in for a brotherly hug. He knew that Joe meant everything word he was telling Andrew, which is something that Andrew really needed to hear. Finally he pushed Joe away and began to speak to him. "Joe, just the fact that you feel remorse for what happened is a good thing," he told Joe. "I know....I know, it sounds crazy, but you did learn something from it, which makes me very happy," Andrew said as he  then went onto reply to Joe.

"Like I said, she wanted to make it a christmas suprise, so she made me keep my mouuth  shut with an offer that I couldn't turn down," he said with a chuckle and then got serious again. "I think this time away from here is doing her some good. She's finding herself missing this place and the kids more and more," he said. "So when I go to get her and bring her home, let her get good and settled and then maybe you can apologize then," he said with a smile on his face.

Then once again, Andrew got serious as he began to speak to him about jokes and pranks. "Little Joe, you can have fun with your jokes and pranks, but you have to know when it's fun time and when to hold off," he said. "You have to find that balance," he told Joe realizing he was lecturing his little brother again. "And I'm lecturing you again, aren't I?" he said laughing.

"Anyway, I'm kind of glad I told you too. That has been on my mind for several months now," he said as he turned back to his horse and saddle.  "Now, let's finish up here and get to riding to town," Andrew said with a smirk. "This cowboy is getting very hungery and I'm sure his little cowoby brother is getting that way too," he added.

Lynda says:
Lynda smiled as she touched Joe's face softly. "I will never give up on you," she told him as she dropped her hand. Then she got his bedroom door open. She reached in and turned on the light. She looked around and then turned to Joe. "So, where shall we start?" she asked him with a chuckle and then she got serious for a moment as she turned to look at Joe.

The next questions that she asked threw Joe off gaurd. "Joe, honey, when was the last time you saw a doctor? And what I mean, is had your eyes check, a physical done and had a mental evaluation done?" she asked him hoping this wasn't a step too far since they just worked everrything out.

"That happens," he told Joe with a smile on his face. "It's just like when I get so wrapped up in a case that I forget that I have kids," he said chuckling. "But eventually I do remember I have kids and they  need attention too," he added. "You'll eventually get to where you remember you have family to help out," he said. "We both just need to remember to slow down a bit," he added as they were now in the barn saddling their horses. Andrew didn't say anything for a while. It was almost deep in thought. Andrew looked as if he was trying to decide something serious.

Finally, after Andrew stopped what he was doing he turned to look at Joe and as he spoke to him, Andrew was using the most serious voice he had. "They weren't exactly as harmless as you might think," he told Joe as he let out a sigh while walking over towards Joe. Andrew knew Joe would feel extremely bad once Andrew told him the truth but  Andrew also knew Joe deserved to know the truth. "You see, Michaela and I had just found out she was pregnant, when you and Jennie started in your Halloween pranks," Andrew said trying not to get choked up as he was talking.

"The only one who knew this was Adam and that was because he was having lunch with Jennifer at the hospital on the day we found out," he added. "And he swore he wouldn't tell anybody because he had a plan to make a big Christmas announcement that year," he added. "But then the pranks started and as much as I tried to stop them, they just kept getting worse and worse," Andrew said as a few tears started to fall.

"Finally, when you and Jennie started chasing Michaela dressed as so serial killers, well, it was too much stress and Michaela ended up having a misscariage," he finally told Joe. "So, not only did Michaela go back to be with family, but she ended up having to be hopitalized for sever depression," Andrew finished up. "So, no, I don't look for Michaela pulling anything on anyway, since she no longer likes or celebrates Halloween," he finished up with a sigh of relief.

Then Andrew started to go back to finish up saddling his horse when he stopped and turned back to look at Joe. "No Jennie doesn't know. I didn't want to tell either of you because I didn't want you two to also get depressed about it," he told Joe. And then Andrew's playfull smiled once again returned as he went on speaking on a whole new subject. "And don't worry, I remember everything Pa has taught me," he smirked as he went on talking about lunch.

"You know I don't mind buying you lunch," he told Joe. "Now hurry up and get your horse saddled," Andrew said once he was back at his horse and getting everything tightened down. "I'm just about ready to ride," he added as he turned and gave Joe one of his most silliest grin.

Lynda says:
"Yes that is what family is for," she told him as she playfully nudged him back. "To be the stregnth and to give love to those who can't be strong or need extra love," she told him with a soft and motherly smile on her face. "But you don't have to worry about me, sweetie," she told him. "A few days in the isolation room while I get back on track with my meds and I'll be fine," she told him as they reached the top of the stairs.

Once they got up the stairs and was walking down towards Joe's room. Once they reached his room, Lynda stopped and turned to look at Joe before they went in. She began to speak to him softly and sincerly. "I promise you I won't give up," she said softly. "But you have to promise me that no matter how hard life gets or how out of control you feel," she told him. "When you feel those feelings coming on, you lean on your family for help and guidence," she finished up. "Family is the most important thing a person could have to help fend off so many things," she told him.

"So I promise not to give up, if you promise to let your family in more and help you when you feel like the world becomes to much," she told him with a smile as she softly touched his face in a motherly way. "So, now shall we go and see what we can do with your room?" she asked him getting back to her playfull tone. As she waited for his reply, Lynda took down the eviction noticed and began to unlock Joe's door.

"I think we all forget that family is about being there for one another in not just the good times but the bad times too," he told Joe as they were walking to the front door. Then Andy opened it and looked at his little brother. "I'm just glad I was around to help you remember that," he told Joe as they went onto talk about Joe and Jennie's childhood.

"I remember," Andrew said as they were walking to the barn. "I remember you two coming home everyday afterwards, with no bully problems and your great cards were the best Pa had ever seen," he said. "And it was like that clean up til the middle of your guys middle school years, when you both it puberity and things started to change," he said as they stopped in front of the barn door and began to pull it open. Then he stopped and looked at Joe as he continued on with their conversation.

"Hey, it's not a problem. Like I said, the kids and Michaela will understand," he said as he started getting his's horse's riding blanket and putting it on him. "Besides, I wanna make sure yours and Jennie's Halloween pratical jokes are over with before I convince her to come back," he said giving Joe as stern and yet playful look after he got the blanket put perfectly on his horse's back before going to get his saddle. Then he let out a chuckle as he went onto the subject of lunch.

"Sorry about that bro," he said. "I might have gotten a little carried away with the health stuff," he added. "But you can't argue with the results," he said flexing his arm and showing a muscle as big as one of Hoss's arm muscles. Then he put it down and carried his saddle over to his horse. "But anyway, I'm good with whatever you choose," he said. "Heck, I will even throw in desert too," he said as he got his saddle on his horse and tighten it down. "Today it your day and everything is all on me," he added with a smile.
