Laura says:
"Monica," he said with a playful smile on his face as he went on speaking. "And now that we got the introductions out of the way," he said playfully before getting serious. "It wasn't my idea for Joey to try it on, I was just showing it to him and the next thing I know he had it on, though he did give me $20 to wear it," he told her, knowing that since he already started confessing, he might as well tell her the entire story. "Though I promise he never had it on for more than 10 minutes," Chandler to her as he held up on of his hands in an innocent motion as he then went on speaking. "I just wasn't expecting him to take it off and throwing it at me, knowing that my catching skills aren't so good and the ring just plopped in the toilet," Chandler said. "It's just a good thing I looked down before actually using the toilet," he said with a chuckle as he looked down at Monica, only to see the stern look that usually scared him, though he wouldn't admit to it. Chandler than cleared this throat and then got serious as he wrapped his arms around Monica. Then looking down at her, he began to speak to her. "I know you want to fix everything for her, and I love you for that," he told Monica honestly as he felt her softly brushing her thumb over his cheek. "But you also got to stop and remember that she's a big girl now, and as much as you two lean on each other, she needs to do things for herself," Chandler said as he was being serious and a little sarcastic.

Then Chandler once again got serious as she told him what he was walking into by letting her and Emma pick everything. He couldn't help but let out a sigh as he began to speak to his wife again. "Yes, I realize that, though what could a five-year-old pick that will be healthy and full of emotions?" he asked and then a huge smile came upon his face as he went on with his thoughts. "Besides, who said that later on tonight after Emma goes to bed," Chandler said as he moved some of her hair behind her ear and a huge smile on his face as he went on speaking, though this time he knew she would know what he was talking about. "That I won't get a little reward for being such a gentleman to his favorite ladies," Chandler finished as he the leaned down and kissed her on her forehead. There was a pause between the two of them as they continued to look deep into each other's eyes. "And for record," he said with a grin on his face as she was looking deep into Monica's eyes as he put his forehead on hers. "I have no intentions of crying at some chick flick or emotional cartoon movie," he said playfully, knowing deep down that it if would put a smile on hers and Emma's face. Finally, after about another 5 minutes or so, Chandler pulled away and began to speak again. "Why don't you go get yourself ready and I'll go get Emma ready," he said. "And then we will go to wherever you ladies want to eat and then we can discuss the movie while we eat," he added.

Chandler smiled as he looked deep into Monica's eyes. He could tell that she really liked the idea of going to dinner and a movie with him and Emma. He didn't say much at first, just listened to everything that Monica had to say as he just held her. When Monica was done talking about Laura and was taking a few minutes to breathe and gather her thoughts, he began to speak about what she had told him. "I know you hate that she's so far away, but you and I both know she had to go do this for herself," Chandler said as he was being serious as he could be. "Besides, we both know she's stronger than what she's giving herself credit for," he added, hoping what he was saying was the right things that Monica needed to hear. "And as for her being scared," Chandler started and then went on speaking to her. "We all get scared. I was scared when I asked you to marry me," he told her, knowing it wasn't the same as what Laura was going through, but it got the point across. "I mean I almost flushed your engagement ring down the toilet because I couldn't hold it while I was showing it off. Of course, that was after Joey had to try it on," he added and then paused thinking that maybe he shouldn't hadn't said that part, but it was too late now, it was already out there. "The point is, we all get scared, whether we want to be or not. It's only human nature," he said as he then moved onto why he was always the last to know things. "I'm glad you love me for it," Chandler said with a smile as he went on. "Anyway, I read that chicks love that macho hero crap," Chandler said. "I just make sure to lighten it up with a joke before I bring out the macho stuff," he said with a smile and then kissed the top of her head as he continued to hold her.

It was after he told her about what he was planning, that he really saw his wife's face light up. "I promise you that I will make it happen," he whispered to Monica. "No matter what I have to do," he added as they were looking at each other deep into each other's eyes. Though at the back of Chandler's head, he knew there was only one way to keep Monica and Laura happy, and that was to move his family to Nevada, but he would mention that later, after he seen how they would react to staying out there for a while. Chandler smiled as he felt her hugging and kissing him, which he just happened to make the kiss deeper as he dipped her romantically. And after he broke the kiss, with a smile on both their faces. Then Chandler sat them both up and began to speak to her. "Now, why don't we get cleaned up and I'll go check on Emma and make sure she's cleaned up and then we can go to dinner and a movie," he told Monica with a smile on his face. "And I will make things even sweeter, I will let you ladies decide what we have for dinner and what movie we see," he told her with a smile on his face. "Does that ease your pain and worry about missing Laura a little bit better?" he asked her with a huge smile on her face.

Chandler, who watched Monica almost squeezing their daughter to pieces, couldn't help but chuckle as he began to speak. "Easy Mon," he told her still chuckling. "Let the poor girl breathe a little bit," he added. "She's starting to squirm like a fish out of water," he added as he went onto change the subject to Laura. "Did she send a hug and kiss for me?" he asked playfully hurt until she said that Laura wanted him to be the godfather of her unborn baby. Chandler went quiet for a few minutes, which was very unusual for him, but then finally managed to find the words to say. "Well, I guess I can handle that instead of getting a hug and kiss," he said and then gave Emma and Monica one of his famous Bing smiles. "Though I would really like to have both," he added, wondering if Monica or even Emma was getting the hint that he really wanted a hug and a kiss. But it was when Monica said about Laura really loving his family that really got to him. "You know, when we all became friends and before you and I got married and Emma was blessed in our lives," Chandler said. "That we swore we would look out for each other, no matter what, and Laura has done that for all of us," Chandler told his girls as the wheels in his head began to turn as if he was thinking about something. And what he was thinking about was something that he knew Monica would love, but he wasn't ready yet to say what it was yet. Bu there was something that he was already planning that he could tell them when the time was right. So, after their big family hug and them just sat on the couch enjoying each other, Chandler's eyes began to sparkle as another idea came to him. This one he would share with his girls.

He looked at Emma and Monica. "Hey, why don't I take my two favorite ladies out for dinner and a movie?" he asked with a smile on his face, which both Monic and Emma got excited for. He knew this had been a day for everyone, and he also knew they could use some fun right now. Chandler looked at Emma with a smile. "So, why don't you go get ready princess and let me and mommy talk for a little while," he told her happily. Emma nodded happily and then did as her father told her. Once Emma was out of the room and Chandler could see she was, he seriously turned back to Monica. "Okay, so, really, how is Laura doing?" he asked her knowing that Monica had to clean it up a little for Emma. "Is she making sure to take care of herself?" he asked worried, knowing that Laura probably wasn't because she was too busy worrying about everyone but her. Then a weird look came over his face as he looked away from Monica for a few minutes and then back at her. "Why am I the last to know that Laura was pregnant?" he asked her being both serious and yet funny at the same time in his usual Bing way. Chandler sat there with his arm around Monica, knowing that she didn't have to answer anything he had asked her. Every answer she had was written on her face and it only confirmed what Chandler already knew. He swallowed a lump in his throat and began to speak to Monica about the idea he had. "I don't wanna tell Emma yet, just in case I can't make it happen, but what would you think about us going to visit Laura in Nevada for a while, provided I can get the time off," he suggested, already knowing deep in his mind that she would want to do that.

Laura says:
Laura could feel the tears swelling up though she fought hard to keep them from falling. She knew the hardest decision she could have ever made was giving up her own daughter, but she knew she did the right thing because Emma has now the life Laura knew she couldn't give Emma at the time. "I'm glad that you both love her so much. And I'm glad she is growing and having the best life that I knew I couldn't give her," Laura told Monica with a bit of sadness in her voice, though she did try to hide it. She knew that Emma was getting to that age when she would start asking difficult questions, which she just hoped that she had the ones that Emma would want to hear. "Give her a big hug and kiss for me and don't tell her anything yet. I want to be there when everything is explained to her," she added as she then went on to talk about Hoss and her telling him in her own time. "Thank you. I just hope he understands why I did what I did," she told Monica. "And I know he's going to want to meet her, especially since she's starting to look so much like me," she added as she let a yawn slip out. "Oh, sorry about that. I guess I'm more tired than I thought," she said with a chuckle. "But anyway," Laura said as she went on to talk about Joey and Phoebe. "Don't worry, I have a feeling that when it's all said and done, those two will all over each other like peanut butter and jelly," Laura said with a chuckle, now realizing just how tired she really was. "Especially when you play the right Barry Manilow song, which the perfect song for them would be Let Me Be Your Wings," she told Monica. "Great song, even though it does come from a children's movie," she added giggling.

Then another yawn came and Laura knew that she really needed to get off of the phone before she fell asleep. But she couldn't go before replying to Monica's acceptance of her being the babies got mother. "I knew you would like that idea," Laura said with a huge and tired smile on her face, as she went onto speak about Chandler. "And before Chandler goes all nuclear on everybody, it would be my honor if he was the babies godfather, which I know that will make him very happy, even if he doesn't show it right away," she said laughing as the nurse came to get her for an ultrasound. "But anyway, the nurse is here to take me back to get an ultrasound," she told Monica while she was following the nurse back to an exam room. "And then I will take a nap and then when I get up and after I show Eric the ultrasound of his new baby, then I take a picture and send it to you so you can see your new niece or nephew growing slowly inside of me," Laura added as she continued with the rest of her thoughts. "And you are welcome, but it is me who should be thank you for taking the time to listen to me while I'm going through this difficult time right now," she told Monica. "You are a true friend and I promise that I will always cherish you and the other for the rest of my life," she told Monic as she was getting on the exam table. "Now, I really do have to go or else I'm going to fall asleep on the phone and miss everything," she said with a chuckle. Laura and Monica said their tearful goodbyes, Chandler came in with Emma and they both looked at her with smiles on their faces.

Laura says:
Laura felt so much better and Monica was right, Laura hadn't slept in a few days because of worry and guilt. But there was one person she knew she needed to ask about before she got off the phone. "How's Emma? I bet she's growing like a weed, isn't she?" Laura asked, knowing that her daughter, who was adopted by Monica and Chandler, was in a loving home that she knew she couldn't give her at the time. She also knew she would eventually have to tell Hoss about her, but now wasn't the time. "I bet she is totally beautiful," she added as she drifted off for a little bit, remembering Emma's birth and the one and only time that she held her daughter. Laura blinked back the tears, and she began to speak again. "When you get down here, please don't say anything to Hoss about Emma being my biological daughter. I want to be the one to let him know," she reminded Monica as she moved onto the rest of what they were talking about.

"And I was going to lay down in a few minutes. The doctor who checked me out wants to do an ultrasound, just to make the baby is okay," she told her. "And if you do end up locking Joey and Phoebe in the apartment, make sure to play Barry Manilow outside the door," she suggested with a chuckle. "Barry has always put me in the mood for love and romance, so I don't see why it would work for them," she added as she paused for a few minutes to yawn and then went back to speaking to her bestie. "I guess I better get off here before I fall asleep and you start to hear me snore," she said playfully. "Thanks again Mon, for listening, for being there, for just everything you have given. You truly are my best friend and I would be happy if you would agree to be my baby's god mother," she added, knowing that Monica would do that in a heartbeat. "So, what do you say, will you be the god mother of my baby?" she asked her.
