Laura couldn't help but chuckle as she listened to everything that Monica had to say. Finally, she began to reply to everything, starting with the one thing that Monica was most excited about, which deep down, she was excited too, though she kept calm so Hoss wouldn't get too excited. 

"Oh thank god I don't have to stress out about all of that," she said laughing. "I'll let you do all the stressing while I pick the things I want from whatever you have plotting in your head," she said laughing as an idea came to her head. "I do know, and I still have to  talk to  Eric about it,  that I want to get married up by Lake Tahoe," she said. "There's a speical spot that him and I always hung out as kids," she said. "So, unless it rains, I want an outside wedding," she told Monica as she then moved onto the the next subject. 

Laura couldn't help but blush herself as she started speaking again. "Well, you're pretty strong yourself. And yes I know," she said soft heartly. "You're always there, that's why we are the best of friends, because you know I'll always be there for you," she added as she got back on subject. "You know, even after having a seizure and having trouble with his heart, he still brought his A game when it came to us making love," she told Monica, knowing that eventually they would have gotten around to talking about sex. 

Then another idea came to Laura's mind. "You know, I could talk to Hoss or Ben and see if we can't build a mansion big enough for you, Chandler, Phoebe, Joey and Ross," she said happily. "We could be neighbors and maybe that will relax Chandler enough to want to have kids with you," she said. "What do you think? We could have cookouts and our kids could be best friends and can even show the boys how to be cowboys," she added. 

"Don't worry, I'll blame it on Ross," she said laughing."I usually blame him for everything," she added playfully joking. Then Lynda came into the room. "Ohh the doctor is here, I'll call you as soon as we find out if Hoss is well enough to travel," she added. "Love ya Mon!" she added. 

Laura couldn't help but chuckle as she listens to everything Monica had to say. It always surprised Laura how much Monica could talk without taking a single breathe. Of course, Laura had been know to do the same thing too, which is just one of the many reasons why here and Monica are best friends. Finally, when it was Laura's turn to speak, she couldn't help but clear her throat as she began to answer everything Monica had to say.

 

"Aww...thank you Monica," Laura said knowing that was one less thing she had to worry about. "I knew I could count on you and the rest of the gang to help me out in a pinch," she said happily. "And you know I wouldn't want to leave my besties out something as special as my wedding or even the birth of my child," Laura told her with a chuckle. "But like I said, once Eric and I discuss everything further, I will most definately let you guys know," Laura added as she went onto change the subject to something else.

"I was more worried about him not waking up than scared," she told Monica honestly. "I mean, I already went through the pain of losing him once, though Gunnar does have alot to do with that," she said as she trailed off from the subject for a moment before getting back to the subject at hand. Then she shook those thoughts off and went on speaking about Eric's seizure. "Anyway, I am thankful that I knew just what to do to help him get through it, no matter how small it was," she told her bestie. Laura could see Hoss getting even more nervous the longer the doctor took his/her time.

"Somehow, I can see all that happening, even as we are talking right now," Laura said laughing as she took Hoss's hand into her to help calm him down. "But enough about me and Hoss, what about you and Chandler?" she asked as she finally changed the subject off of her and onto Monica and Chandler. "Are there any plans on you two having little ones in the furture or rather near future?" she asked with a giggle at the thought of Chandler being a father, though it wasn't the craziest thing that Laura had ever heard.

"I can't wait to get you all out here and show you guys my home and the huge Ponderosa Ranch," she said as once again Laura changed subject once more. "Believe me, you won't be able to see it all in one day," she added with a laugh. "In fact, I still haven't see alot of it myself, which gives me an idea for a family vacationn," she told her bestie wiith a smile. "Oh and after we get off here," Laura started to asked. "Do you think you can text me Joey's number. Somehow it got deleted and I kind of wanna give him a call," she said. 

"Aww...thanks Monica," Laura said with a big an bright smile on her face. "We haven't really worked out all the details yet, but when we do, I'll let you know," she told Monica. "I know you can make this happen, but I want the whole gang to come to my wedding," she said, knowing that she did want Phoebe as a bridesmaid as well. "And yea we have always been close, even as kids. But now that him and I are adults and can express our love, it just seemed to make our bond grow even stronger," she added. Then Laura changed the subject and went on to talk about Hoss's heart condition. 

"All I can say is I will try," she told Monica. "But with Eric's heart getting worse, even though he insist on the fact that he's fine," she told Monica as her voice  changed to a more somber one. "And I will definately keep you updated and thanks for the prayers....we could use all of them we can get," she told him. "I'll try not to feel bad, but right now, I just can't help it," she said as it hit her that she never told Monica about the small seizure he had earlier.  "Oh i forgot to tell you that Eric had a seizure earlier that day after trying to save me from a couple of drunk and rowdy cowboys," she added. 

"Thanks. Trust me, I know the rest of the gang will freak out when I announce my pregnacy," she told Monica. "And I will definately give him a big hug for you and tell Ross I said hey and give him a kiss for me," she said chuckling, knowing how much Laura meant to him, even though it wasn't meant to be, even though he was also there for her while dealing with Gunnar. "And smack Joey and Chandler for me, just because," she said still laughing. "And give Phoebe and big hug for me. I love you too bestie and I love them as well. And I wouldn't have made it through my life with Gunnar without you guys," Laura said as she was trying to not cry. 

As Laura waited with Hoss, she felte her phone going off and knew intatntly that it was Monica texting her back, since she hadn't let any of her family know yet about anything that was going on. Laura quickly opened the text and began to read it with a smile on her face as she began typing her reply, only stopping shortly to follow Hoss back into an exam room. 

"Well, you know that childhood friend of mine that I was super close to?" she began typing. "He asked me to be his wife and I said yes," she added as she placed four heart emojis after it. "We haven't told anybody yet, so mium's the word. Right now, we are at the hospital  because of an unexepct hicup that I just found out. I'm fine, but as it turns out, Eric has a very bad heart condition and well....we did somethings last night that might have made his condition worse," she wrote, still feeling bad.

"But boy did it feel so right between him and I," she added with a smiley emoji at the end. "Anyway, one question I have to ask will have to wait until it's confirmed. It's still too early to tell yet if I'm pregnant or not. But the other questio I want to ask you is if you will be my matron of honor?" she wrote and then hit the sent button and waited for Monica's reply. As she waited Laura got up and went over to be close to Hoss as they waited for a doctor. 

Knowing that Monica was working at the moment, Laura knew that if she didn't tell Monica that she was getting married, she would be disowned. After all, they had been through a lot together and Monica, among their other besties, had been there when things with Gunnar got really rough. So, instead of calling at the moment, which she knew she wouldn't get through anyway, Laura decided to text Monica. 

"Hey Mon," Laura began to tyep. "I have some great news to tell you," she added and then added a smiling emoji. "And then there is an important question, well, make that two questions, that I want to ask you as well," she finished writing and then she hit the sent button and as she waited for a reply, she began to play a game on her phone.
