Before Andrew could speak he could hear the struggles that Hoss was going through and that got him all worried. "Hoss it's Andrew," he said sounding very concerned for him. Andrew just knew that there was something majorly wrong with his little brother. "Little Brother," Andrew started. "Are you alright?" he asked him. "What's going on? Are you doing something you know you're not supposed to?" he asked Hoss, knowing he probably was. "Is someone there with you to drive you to the hospital?"  Andrew asked as all knds of thoughts were running through his mind. 

Laura couldn't find the words at the moment as she looked up into Hoss's eyes. She didn't know how he was going to take it when she told him the truth, but she also knew she couldn't hide it from him. Laura put her phone down and quickly put her arms around him. She wanted him as steady as possible for when she told him. She could see the worry in his eyes and hear it in his voice and even though she wished he wouldn't worry about her, he was going to no matter what she said. 

"It was Gunnar, your uncle," she told him as she kept her arms firmly around him. "He wants me back and plans to come and take me away," she said. "I told him to stay away from the Ponderosa and more importantly for him to stay away from me and you," she told him. "He hasn't responed yet, but that doesn't mean he won't later on," she told Hoss as she reached up and touched his face softly.

"But I don't want you to worry about any of that," she told Hoss. "You have enough on your plate," she added. "In fact, we need to get you dressed and get you over to the hospital asap," she told him. "I'll send for our stuff later on," she told him as her worry began to show in her eyes as they looked deep into each other's eyes. "I love you so much baby," she whispered to him, almost in tears at the thought of losing him. 

After hearing that her son was having an unexpected checkup, Inger and Michael decided to go back to the Ponderosa early. So, while Michael was getting their flight changed, Inger decided to call and see if not only Laura arrived safetly, but she wanted to check up on him and see how he was feeling. So, Inger, after getting off the phone with Ben, she went to her contacts and down to her son's name. 

Once Inger found Hoss's name, Inger hit the green button and started to listen to his phone ring. As she waited for him to answer, she could feel a bit of worry coming over her, though she knew Laura was with him, whiched helped a bit. But she was Eric's mother and she couldn't help but worry, no matter who was he was with. 

Knowing that his kids wanted to see and hang out with Uncle Hoss, he decided he would call his little brother. For one thing to find out why he hasn't been him in a couple of days. Andrew knew Hoss was supposed to be resting, but he also knew that Hoss knew that Laura was coming back to Virginia City and even though Hoss had promised he would rest and take it easy, Andrew had a feeling he was overdoing it somewhere just to impress Laura. 

So, while the boys and Peggy were packing for a litte two-week trip to Virigina City, Andrew pulled out his cell phone and went to his contacts. Once he found Hoss's name, Andrew hit the green call button and listened to Hoss's phone ringing. Though he knew that Hoss was probably with Laura, he just hoped that whatever they were doing, it didn't cause Hoss to end up back in the hosptial. That would only add more stress to an already unstable family on the verge of collapse. 

She helped Hoss to the bed so that he could sit down and rest a few minutes before getting dressed. "Yes I do and I always will," she told him with a warm and affectionate smile on her face. She softly touched his face with her hands as he held himself upright on the bed. Their eyes met and the smiled on both their faces got really big. "There is nothing I don't love about you," she told him.

 

"And whatever the reason why you fell for me, it doesn't matter," she added as she leaned down and softly kissed his lips. "The only thing that matters is you are mine and I am yours," she told him as she backed off smiling. "Now you sit here for a few minutes and rest while I check my phone to make sure my momma didn't blow it up, and then I will help you get dressed," she said with a smile as she let him go and walked over to her purse to get her phone. 

"Oh and by the way," she said as she pulled her phone out but looked at him before checking her phone. "You best believe I'm gonna always worry about you. Just like I know you'll always worry about me," she added as she finally looked down at her phone. She saw she had a texted and when she opened it and saw who it was from and what it said, Laura's face went white as ghost as she felt her body start to shake.
