Lynda says:
"Sometimes I wonder if I really am as strong as you say," she said softly as they were resting a bit on the stairs of the porch. Then she went on speaking. ."You know I'm always gonna be worried about you, just like I know you worry about me," she told him with a smile as she held steady and strong for him. "And I will always be steady for you John. I am you rock as you are mine," she told him with a smile.

Finally, as John got his wind back, they slowly made their way down the porch stairs, taking one step at a time. Lynda right now felt very safe as they gently walked down each step. Finally, as she got him down on the ground, Lynda looked up at him with a smile. "And you are mine, my love," she told him as they slowly walked t Lynda's truck. "I will never let you go," she added as they finally reached her truck and she reached out to open the passenger's door.

"You still doing alright, my love?" she asked knowing she needed to get John to the hopsital as soona as possible, but she also knew that she needed to get him there in one piece, so she would drive carefully but still as fast as she could. "Do you think you can help me get you into the truck without hurting yourself even further?" she asked him still very worried about him, but feeling much more stronger.

Lynda says:
Lynda could feel John's love and strength as they looked deep into each other's eyes. Lynda smiled softly as she shakenly reached up and touched his hand. Finally, after several moments of just letting their hearts speak to each other, Lynda broke the silence and began to speak to him. "Let's get you to the hospital," was all she said for the time being. She quickly put on John's other boot and laced it up tightly. Then she stood up and gently put his arm around her shoulder and helped him to his feet.

As they stood there together, John's arm around her shoulder and her arm around his mid-section, Lynda couldn't help but smile as she began to speak, though she still felt a little bit out of control, she knew John was there to help bring her back. "I love you so much John," she whispered and then kissed his shoulder. Then slowly they began to walk, and as she heard him breathing, she couldn't help but worry.

"Shh...slow breaths, my love," she told him as they slowly were walking slowly to the door. They only stopped briefly so that Lynda could get her purse phone. Then, as she left their front door open for the moment, she slowly and steadily got to her truck. "You still doing okay, John?" she asked him as they slowly walked down each step of their front porch.

Lynda says:
Lynda couldn't say not to John, especially with him hurting as much as he was. She had feeling that he knew her OCD was starting to come back. She could feel the squeeze of his hand and she couldn't help but squeeze back. Lynda looked over at the mess on the counter and back at John. She looked deep into his eyes and then put her head on his knee as if she was fighting a war with herself.

"John...I....," Lyda started to say as she was now breaking down in tears. She never did finish her thought as hid her wet face away from him. She still hadn't looked at him as she was now trembling. Finally, after a little bit, she raised her face and looked deep into his eyes once more. Her eyes were wet, but she seemed a little stronger now. "Alright, I'll take you, but you do know you would get there faster in an ambulance," she told him as she stood up and let out a sigh, though still glancing over at the mess on the counter and then back down to John.

"Let me get your boots and get you ready to go," she said softly as she went into the laundry room and grabbed his boots, though  she felt she had to  wring her hands a few times before finally grabbing John's boots and coming back. As she knelt down and began to put them on, she began to speak to him softly. "John....I think my OCD is getting worse," she told him after she got his first boot on and started working on the other on. "I think it's time that I started telling the family, you know, just in case....I have to go away for a while," she told him as she looked up at him.

Lynda says:
Lynda's face went serious as she gently pressed all over John's ribs. Her face grew even more serious with every winch he made from her pushing on his ribs. Then she looked at him and her face softened as she began to speak to him. "And I thank god everytime you walk through that door too," she told him as she took his hand and softly kissed it. "And even though it plays hell on my OCD with the mess you make, but I breathe easier when you come through that door," she told him.

"And don't think I won't take the Gargolas on and kick their asses," she said softly and with a smile. Then the softness faded as she got serious again. "But anyway, I think you might have some broken ribs, which I need to have X-ray done and a couple of other tests to make sure you don't have any internal bleeding or punctured a lung," she told him. Then Lynda took John's hands in hers and softlly kiss them and nuzzled them before finally speaking. "Do you want me to take you or do you need an ambulance?" she asked him as looked up at him with a soft and yet worried expression on her face.

Lynda says:
"Yes, but I am your damn stubborn woman," she smirked. "And you know that if I didn't fuss over the state you come home in, you would think there was something wrong with me," she said chuckling as she noticed the wince of pain that John did after taking off his boots and socks. She knew he was in constant pain and that these were no ordinary wounds.

After coming back from the laundry room and seeing John in his state, she went over to the sink and pulled out her old  pink wash tub and put some epsom salt in it and then some hot water in it until she had enough to cover his feet. Once that was done, she walked over and gently put his feet into the water. "There, now that will help with the pain in your feet, that I know you are trying to hide from me," she said as she got up and sat in the chair next to him.

She reached over and took John by the hand softly as she smiled. "I'm glad you did come back to me like this," she told him."Now I have someone I can baby and nurse back to health," she said softly and then let him fall back against the chair. "But baby, the next time you decide to go hunting gargoylas, take your bat," she said. "This way you have a little protection," she said as she gently went over and begna to gently press on his ribs. "Does it hurt when I do this?" she asked him.
